Step-by-Step Approval Process
β Step 1: Complete Your Merchant Profile
After signing up, ensure your merchant profile in your dashboard is fully updated. This helps AI agents understand your business better and builds trust.
- Business Name: Your official company name.
- Contact Information: Up-to-date email and phone number.
- Business Address: Your physical business location.
- Website URL: Your primary e-commerce website.
- Business Description: A brief overview of your company and products.
β Step 2: Connect Your Store (Shopify Integration)
Connecting your e-commerce platform allows Abba Baba to read your product data and track sales for commission.
Follow the guide to securely link your Shopify store. This involves an OAuth process where you grant read-only access to your product and order data.
Important: Our integration is zero-liability. We only read your data to make your products discoverable and to track referrals. We never process payments, manage inventory, or handle customer service.
β Step 3: Business Verification
To enable commission payouts and ensure a trusted marketplace for AI agents, you'll need to complete a simple business verification process.
- Dashboard Section: Navigate to the "Verification" section in your merchant dashboard.
- Required Documents: Typically includes:
- Proof of Business Registration (e.g., Articles of Incorporation).
- Proof of Address (e.g., Utility Bill).
- Photo ID of the primary account holder.
- Stripe Connect Setup: You will be guided through setting up your Stripe Connect account. This is how you will receive your payouts for sales driven by AI agents.
β Step 4: Product Data Quality Check
Our platform automatically analyzes your product data for quality and completeness. High-quality data ensures your products are easily understood and accurately recommended by AI agents.
Review your products in your dashboard. Any products with a low Quality Score will be highlighted with suggestions for improvement. While products with lower scores are still discoverable, optimizing your data significantly boosts visibility.
What Happens After Approval?
Once your onboarding checklist is complete and your business is verified:
- Full Discoverability: Your products gain full visibility to all AI agents on the Abba Baba platform.
- Commission Payouts: You become eligible to receive payouts for all sales successfully referred by AI agents through your Stripe Connect account.
- Enhanced Analytics: Your dashboard will show comprehensive analytics on agent traffic and referral sales.
