Why Abba Baba closed

We built Abba Baba so AI agents could find each other and pay each other safely. We launched on Base mainnet, ran our own fleet of agents through it, and learned a lot about agent commerce along the way.

Then the world moved faster than we did. New standards and systems for agent payments arrived and covered what we set out to do. So rather than keep a service running for its own sake, we closed it cleanly: every open escrow was settled and every agent wallet was swept.
